Our Reflect Hope Teams venture out monthly to local strip clubs to visit with the women working there - building relationships through individual interaction and through distributing hand assembled gift "pampering" bags to show them how special they are. We believe that as the body of Christ, it is our responsibility to be the Light and physically reflect God’s hope into the areas of Satan’s darkness.
Many women who work in the strip clubs are victims of abuse and are at high risk or have already become a victim of sex trafficking or sexual exploitation. We believe that the adult entertainment industry is another sector of the sex industry that fuels the fire for sex trafficking — and is a fire that God wants to extinguish!

Jobs for Life
Jobs for Life is a faith-based jobs skills training for permanent employment, focusing on vulnerable women in shelters who are at risk for becoming sex trafficking victims. Jobs for Life prepares individuals for work and life. It teaches timeless biblical principles concerning work and the ways those principles are applied in the marketplace. Through this training, women develop character and become connected to a community of support to help them obtain far more than just a job. They finally experience life- a life filled with confidence, self-control, coaching, learning, and faith.

Oftentimes, the bathroom is the only place a trafficked victim is left alone.
We want to be there! We are continuing to reach out to area hotels and speak with the managers about this injustice and our desire to do what we can - however we can - to reach those who need help. We purchase soaps and label them with the National Human Trafficking Hotline number and ask the managers to place them in their hotel bathrooms. There are several ways you can get involved:
PRAY for us as we set out to talk to hotel managers, that they would be receptive and willing to let us into their bathrooms
DONATE whatever you can to help us cover the cost of these soaps and labels - Click here to donate
VOLUNTEER to help label soaps and/or visit hotels to distribute them - Facebook event details
Last fall, we had an abundance of help with this project in the Triad area. The wonderful ladies from Glenn View Baptist Church in Winston Salem labeled the soaps for us. Volunteers from many churches joined us to visit hotels, including a group of students from Elon University and a partner organization- Alamance for Freedom. In our preliminary count, we were able to speak with managers in 40+ hotels. We left soaps in 39 of those hotels. One hotel took a packet of information. We gave out approximately 7,800 bars of soap! We had several hotel managers to welcome us with smiles, happy to have the soaps again. One hotel thanked us for the hotline information, sharing that they had once called the number regarding a situation in their hotel. Our goal is to increase the number of hotels each market.
We are expanding this project to the Salisbury/Charlotte area - our first volunteer training is scheduled for Monday, April 20th at 6:30 at First Baptist Church in Salisbury. If you are interested in helping in anyway and to find out more about this outreach,
please contact Mitzi Weber.
And please COVER US IN PRAYER as we continue to get the soaps to the hotels during each Furniture Market.
