TLH Statement of Faith:
We believe in the Trinity, God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and the Bible as the inerrant word of God. Salvation comes through grace by believing in Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God, our Savior. Once saved, the Holy Spirit indwells, thereby instructing, guiding, and empowering the individual to follow the mandate of Jesus Christ in daily living.
Founded in January 2005, Triad Ladder of Hope is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, faith-based organization dedicated to eradicating the exploitation, sale, and trafficking of persons.

At TLH, we believe there are four steps to ending human trafficking:
- Awareness - Teaching/Training
- Identify
- Restoration
- Re-entry
- Family Justice Center
- Rowan County Response Team
- Triad Rapid Response Team
- Department of Health and Human Services – Rescue and Restore
- NC Coalition Against Human Trafficking
- Salvation Army

Step 1 - Awareness
Educating our communities is key to eradicating human trafficking. For victims to be more successfully identified, the public must first understand that human trafficking is a crime and happening all around us.
Triad Ladder of Hope utilizes volunteers to organize massive campaigns against trafficking to bring awareness to the public. Also, training and education on how to recognize a victim is available for law enforcement, churches, clubs, organizations, service providers, teachers, students, and anyone else that might encounter a victim of human trafficking (which means pretty much everyone!). We have experienced personnel available to speak to your group on Human Trafficking 101: Training.
Step 2 - Identify
Triad Ladder of Hope depends on people in the community to recognize and report possible trafficking situations. We then work closely with local law enforcement and the FBI to identify victims quickly and safely.
Step 3 - Restoration
Dealing with trauma
After victims of human trafficking are identified, there is a great demand for their immediate needs to be met. Triad Ladder of Hope works together with other nonprofits to provide survivors with shelter, food, clothing, medical attention, trauma counseling, protection, and legal aid.
If the survivor is an undocumented immigrant, then a social worker is also provided to help with obtaining temporary legal status.
Step 4 - Re-entry
Moving beyond the trauma.
After a survivor has begun the process of dealing with the horrible trauma of exploitation, they are often ready to move past it and on with their life.
The goal of Triad Ladder of Hope is to continue providing a safe and healthy environment for survivors to rebuild their lives. To enable and prepare survivors for re-entry into society as healthy confident individuals, TLH works closely with other local non-profits where survivors can continue to receive services and assistance. Job training and English skills are also offered as way to empower these survivors.
